Hey! You’ve found my personal site, where you can see what’s going on in my life now, and get a feel for the kinds of projects I’ve been working on lately. I’m a programmer, fascinated by the break-neck pace of technological advancement throughout my life. Sometimes I feel like the biggest challenge I have is just deciding what is important enough to be interested in.
Blockchain Technology takes a front seat, and in that arena I’ve been most excited to get hands on with Solana. On another front, I’m starting a military food technology museum – a project I’ve been working on since 2015. That one involved starting a 501(c)(3) organization, forming a board, leasing commercial property, and working towards something I can share with the world. I stream my progress on Sundays over on YouTube, cataloging, taste testing, and marching towards the goal.
Recreational Technology has come a long way too. With the advent of high quality Virtual Reality, I get to have a holodeck in my house! Staying connected to gaming technology’s roots is another hobby, because owning a few classic arcade cabinets basically turns you into a repairman. During the pandemic my main distraction was streaming arcade board troubleshooting and maintenance.
Since 2007, I’ve been participating in the creation of the best temporary city on Earth – Black Rock City, Nevada. Burning Man and its regional counterparts present challenges and rewards, drive creation and exploration, and push you to forge lasting friendships.
Look around, hopefully something here is of use to you. It’s a mix of where I’ve come from and where I’m going next. Thank you for stopping by.
